When the output axle of the reducer moves up and down, one end of the lever is tightly pressed on the end surface of the output axle by the tension of the spring, so the mandrel of the positioner produces an axial displacement to change the resistance value of the potentiometer. The displacement stroke of the output axle has a linear relationship with the resistance value of the positioner.
